For all the anticipation of the Los Angeles Lakers making a splash in free agency, they've also been a mainstay in trade rumors, and specifically with relation to San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard.

The Spurs have wanted to find a way to fix the franchise's relationship with Leonard, but an overwhelming Lakers offer could convince San Antonio to part with its franchise star, league sources said.

James has done a phenomenal job of leading his teams to the NBA Finals year after year.

As the window nears for LeBron James to let the Cleveland Cavaliers know if he will become a free agent, speculation is at an all-time high.

That help would most likely come in the form of Kawhi Leonard or Paul George - or, ideally, both - but there are some other possibilities, including Chris Paul, James's longtime friend.

Celtics general manager Danny Ainge has taken similar risks before, though nothing identical to giving up a haul for Leonard, who played only nine games this season because of a leg injury but who finished third in MVP voting only one season prior. Meanwhile, Brian Windhorst is reporting that LeBron will make his decision by July 4th, and USA Today is noting that the Houston Rockets are "all in" on LeBron James. "Our goal is to keep him as part of our program for a long time".

James, though, may be trying to talk George out of staying put. George had only one season remaining on his deal when the Pacers traded him last summer.

National Basketball Association players, in general, don't have a good track record of coming back from such an injury to continue to play at a high level.

Another good sign for Lakers fans -LeBron James' 13-year-old superstar son is very "likely" to enroll at Sierra Canyon School in L.A. ... but our sources say "it's not a done deal".

"I'm Magic Johnson, I'm still the same dude", Johnson said.

The NBA season has come to an end, and with it, the much-anticipated summer of Lebron James has arrived. James' shooting percentage from three-point range was the third-best single-season mark of his career.
