Fortnite's One-Time Rocket Event Is Happening Tomorrow

The developer will provide another update on Monday, it said. When noon rolled around, the only thing Epic had to say was, "We're continuing to test improvements that are needed to enable the Playground LTM. Our next update is scheduled for 12pm ET". The reason why Playground mode is so intriguing to players is because it's essentially a sandbox where you can build, explore, and practice fighting to your heart's content.

Fortnite 50 v 50 Down: Where is Final Fight LTM?

Enjoy the +100% XP weekend!

So how long will the new game mode be down and when can we expect it to be working again? Has the June 29 update rectified that? Even more so than if they did that in the regular modes, I mean, since your teammates' lives are literally the points you use to win.

Later the same day, however, Epic disabled the mode, citing "issues with our matchmaking services". Epic Games teased a one-time only Fortnite event for Saturday morning, pointing to a rocket in the evil lair near Snobby Shores.

Fortnite Season 5 starts on July 12th, you have that in-game countdown clock to forever remind you, so this double XP is a great way to make one final push during Season 4.

The mode originally went down thanks to overwhelming demand and strain on the servers.

Unfortunately, Playground was only live for a short time before Epic had to take it offline. Whatever Epic has been planning this whole time, we'll finally see the fruits of their labor on Saturday afternoon.

You'll have one hour to create, play and train as you wish. But now we know that whatever is going to happen is going to happen live.

Why is Fortnite Playground down? You gather resources 10x faster than normal, and there are more llamas and chests to loot.
