Shared on Wednesday, the teaser features Claire Underwood, as played by Robin Wright, visiting what is very clearly the grave of her husband Frank, who was played for the first five seasons by Spacey. "When they bury me, it won't be in my backyard", she says. "And when they pay their respects, they'll have to wait in line".

Netflix has released a new teaser for the upcoming season of its original drama House of Cards, and the clip reveals how the show will handle the dismissal of former star Kevin Spacey: The show's writers have chose to kill Frank Underwood.

Yep, Frank Underwood is no more, buried next to his father and fated to be entirely forgotten.

Spacey's character was killed in the show after multiple people accused Spacey of sexual harassment and assault. In a joint statement, Netflix and co-producer Media Rights Capital said they made the decision to suspend operations "to give us time to review the current situation and to address any concerns of our cast and crew", Deadline reported.

LOS ANGELES-Frank Underwood is officially dead, according to a trailer for political series "House of Cards", which returns to television in November without lead actor Kevin Spacey.

Robin Wright was praised for leading the charge to bring back "House Of Cards" for a final season, and has been upfront about her relationship with Spacey - which wasn't much beyond working - and what she believes should happen next for the actor.
