Florida man arrested in connection with pipe bomb packages

Three packages were recovered Friday: one in Florida addressed to New Jersey Democratic Sen.

"We will prosecute them, him, her - whoever it might be - to the fullest extent of the law", said the president.

Mahoney also made it clear that while he is not making a direct link between Trump's rhetoric and violence, in light of today's arrest of pro-Trump partisan Cesar Sayoc, the suspected mail bomber, the consequences are clear.

Sayoc's home address was listed in public records as an upscale gated apartment complex in the seaside town of Aventura, Florida.

The man, who still remains unnamed, was arrested at a business in Plantation, Florida, a suburb of Miami.

Sayoc's white van, which was seized by authorities, had numerous stickers showing President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, as well as a "CNN SUCKS" sign, according to a screenshot posted on Twitter by a CNN reporter.

Cesar Sayoc has been charged with five federal crimes including threats against former presidents and faces up to 48 years in prison if found guilty, US Attorney General Jeff Sessions said.

Court records also show that Sayoc was convicted in the 1990s in Broward County on grand theft and stolen property charges.

Criminal records show Sayoc was arrested on multiple other occasions for fraud, tampering with evidence, drug possession and unlawful use of a driver's license. It was found at a New York City postal facility and was similar to the other packages, the official added.

"I do want to just echo one thing that John Brennan said and that this is not going to silence the administration's critics", Clapper said. However, the address for Holder was incorrect, and Wasserman-Schultz's office in Sunrise was the return address.

"I never thought I'd be living among a terrorist", Sassin said.

Cesar Sayoc allegedly placed 13 improvised explosive devices in envelopes and addressed them to political figures across the United States, prosecutors said. But in a tweet earlier that day, the president also used sarcasm quotes around the word "bomb". Cory Booker, former National Intelligence Director James Clapper, and billionaire Democrat Tom Steyer were discovered at various locations.

The development came amid a coast-to-coast manhunt for the person responsible for a series of explosive devices addressed to Democrats including former President Barack Obama, former Vice-President Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton.

Senator Mark Warner, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, told MSNBC on Friday that the mail bombs were stoking fear across the county and that USA leaders, including Trump, must reassure the public.

FBI Director Christopher Wray said that the investigation is ongoing but that the explosives, which didn't detonate, aren't being treated as "hoax" devices.

Plantation is within U.S. Rep. "As the situation unfolded mid-morning - before the arrest was announced - the President complained on Twitter that the news media was busy reporting on "'Bomb' stuff" and not politics.

The first crude bomb to be discovered was delivered Monday to the suburban NY compound of George Soros, a liberal billionaire and major contributor to Democratic causes.
