OnePlus had to push its launch event for its next flagship from a day ahead to October 29 so that it does not clash with Apple's launch event on October 30. It's the big day for the OnePlus 6T to be unveiled at a special event in NY where we expect to hear all about the latest flagship phone from the Chinese smartphone brand. The latest flagship by OnePlus is available in two variants of RAM and internal storage i.e. 6GB of RAM with 64GB storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, and Marvel Avengers edition. Also, the 6T will be the second smartphone to launch with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 after the Oppo R17.
Even recent reports have indicated that OnePlus 6 successor will boast dual-camera 20MP+16MP with bigger sensors to absorb more light so the resulting pictures will have more details, even when taken in the lowly lit places.
Since the Indian pricing for the phone also leaked last week, there really isn't too much else left about the phone that is an enigma anymore.
On the front, it will have equally impressive 24MP selfie shooter with wide angle Field Of View (FOV) on the front.
One of the notable changes will come in the form of an in-display fingerprint scanner, something that OnePlus has already talked about.
Initially, OnePlus 6T was scheduled to launch on October 30. It will be powered by Android 9.0 Pie-based OxygenOS software. Everything kicks off at 3pm this afternoon, which is 11am New York Time. Following a plethora of teasers, the OnePlus' mid-cycle refresh is set to be revealed at the launch event that will be held in NY. It will be priced higher compared to OnePlus 6. Unfortunately, this is also the first OnePlus flagship to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack. We'll keep you updated once we heard more from OnePlus, so stay tuned.
Coming to what's new with the OnePlus 6T, the device will not have a physical fingerprint reader. A 3,700mAh battery is expected to show up with the OnePlus 6T. And, they are expected to cost Rs 37,999, Rs 40,999 and Rs 44,999, respectively.
