After 10 games with the Rockets, rumors about how long Carmelo Anthony will last in Houston this season are already coming out.

According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, Anthony has been informed "that his brief time with the team will soon be ending".

Anthony has played in 10 games this season, averaging 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds, shooting 40.5% from the field and 32.8% from the three-point line.

"We're struggling as a team, and it's my job, it's Coach's job to figure this thing out".

The Hawks and Anthony reached a buyout agreement, leading to his deal with the Rockets.

Houston Rockets forward Carmelo Anthony (7) rubs the ball before the start of the game against the Memphis Grizzlies during the first half of a preseason NBA basketball game, Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, in Birmingham, Ala. We're not playing well and we just gotta figure it out.

Rockets star James Harden said he didn't have enough information to comment about Anthony's situation after Houston's 115-103 win over the Pacers.

"Melo's been great here", Paul said.

"We've been extremely happy with his approach", Morey said. That removing one player - who doesn't even start - could have such a positive impact is incredible. "That's like a brother to me, know what I mean?" "I understand it he's obviously a Hall of Famer". That's me saying that and knowing that.

Anthony certainly isn't the only problem for the 4-6 Rockets, who have gone from leading the National Basketball Association in scoring previous year to ranking No. 26 entering Saturday, but it's not hard to see changing his usage as a possible path to positive change. "Like I said, we'll see what happens".
