The Seahawks' 27-24 win over Green Bay snapped a two-game losing streak and created a path to where the postseason is now at least a realistic opportunity for Seattle.

"There are games where we've rolled, in our history and places I've been, with very few personnel groupings, and (games where we've) gone to the other extreme where we've had four, five, six, seven groupings up in a given game", Pettine said. The Packers DST was not expected to have a big game in Week 11. Aaron Rodgers - look at the weeks he does it. It hopped in front of the intended receiver, and instead of going for it on fourth down, Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy opted to punt with more than 4 minutes remaining and the Packers still having one timeout.

Rodgers and Wilson are being helped this year by improved run games that are among the best in the league.

A passing explosion like that isn't likely to happen this time. A week after Aaron Jones rushed for a career-high 145 yards, the Packers had just 48 yards rushing and Jones finished with 40. "But at the end of the day, there's so much that goes into each and every game throughout a seven-day period - obviously we're on a 10-day stretch here - and that's really where the energy has to focus". When you're playing in this environment, particularly when you're on the road up here.

"It's a tough environment like I said but we've definitely done it before", Rodgers said. Our defensive coordinator calls some plays and we're getting after guys.

"I just think it's fun that sometimes we roll those jobs around and you'll see throughout the year we'll bring a player in and he might only get two or three plays a game and do something unique for us". In fact, the first quarter was a major disappointment for the Seahawks offense.

Seattle responded with a 75-yard touchdown drive.

The Green Bay Packers' 13th-year head coach acknowledged he is aware that the team's 4-5-1 record has led to questions about his future.

Martinez had been listed as questionable on the final injury report with an ankle injury and Breeland was questionable with a groin injury.

For the Seattle Seahawks to have a say in the NFC playoff picture, they had to get past Green Bay. Chris Carson fumbled the ball and the Packers turned the mistake into points.

Mike Daniels suffered a foot injury early in the second half and backup safety Raven Greene suffered an ankle injury.

"To be in it right now, we're not where we want to be record-wise, but we're fighting", said tight end Ed Dickson, who caught the winning touchdown pass from Russell Wilson with 5:08 remaining. "We've set ourselves up for a pretty good second half, we just have to get back to work".
