The Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer that has released in over 10,500 screens has opened to packed houses across the globe.
The Hindi version of S.Shankar directorial managed to rake in a total of Rs 18 crore at the ticket windows.
As per the report, the dubbed Tamil film is doing well in Delhi/UP, East Punjab, Bihar and Central India as well as Mumbai and West Bengal.
Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 is one of the most anticipated flicks of the year and the sequel of 2010 super hit film Enthiran. On its second day, the film didn't witness a major drop in its numbers and continued to rule at the box office, according to reliable trade sources.
"2.0" is written and directed by S Shankar. Rajinikanth will be seen reprising the role of doctor Vaseegaran and Chitti while Akshay will be making his South Indian cinema debut with an antagonist role.
Yesterday, Taran Adarsh the Bollywood film trade analyst tweeted the collections of 2.0 Hindi version which is around Rs. 20.25 crore.
