Klopp open to Liverpool signings in January

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted that he is "keeping the door open" for potential arrivals during the January transfer window, according to a report on the Evening Standard.

The players will no doubt be pleased that both of their next fixtures are at home, and with Premier League leaders Liverpool facing some tough games (Arsenal and Man City in their next three), opportunity is knocking.

Leicester City vs. Manchester City: The defending champions are in a slump, having sandwiched losses to Chelsea and Crystal Palace with a win over Everton that was flattering to say the least.

We saw evidence of that in the Merseyside derby earlier this month, when Liverpool were not at their best and still managed to benefit from a insane injury-time goal to secure all three points.

Klopp, who saw Spurs register a thumping 6-2 win over Everton on Sunday, insisted that the north Londoners are still in with a shout for the Premier League title. It is something which has happened in the last few matches but we have to give them feedback to stop it happening again. In 2008/09, Manchester United won the title; in 2013/14 it was Manchester City. No decision is made, why should it be? "That's the challenge for us, to be focused and as successful as possible". Nobody can feel safe, nobody can feel out of the race or whatever. It's not a time to think about it.

"To be fair I don't like any of them". A lot of teams are in whatever you call the title race and that is how it should be.

"Winning cups or the Champions League that's six or seven games where you have to be good, but in the Premier League it can be every three days, which is why it's the title I like the most".

"Pep Guardiola is a very intelligent guy, it means that they haven't caught up those four points but he knows there are 20 matches left to play and one of those is going to be against Liverpool", said Hodgson.

"This time previous year pretty much nobody was in the race, so this is good for supporters".

Here's what you need to know.

"Experience is always good if you are young enough to use it".

"We did that altogether and so far we only did steps together and that's what we have to do further on". We have to use all experience from the last games, especially from the last season, and that's much more important.
