Juve decide Higuain-Morata swap

Liverpool agreed to sign Frenchman Fekir for around £53million last summer but the deal fell through because of concerns after his medical.

Aside from Morata, Olivier Giroud is now the only other recognised striker in the Chelsea first team squad.

A deal could ultimately suit all parties, and quizzed this morning on the links to Higuain, Sarri said: "As you know, I like him very much".

The Chelsea boss has built his midfield around Jorginho, the Brazilian he brought with him from Napoli, but Fekir offers a different kind of threat.

AC Milan head coach Gennaro Gattuso does not believe the 31-year-old, who has scored seven goals in all competitions so far this season, will move to London. Where he excels the most though is right in the middle, using his vision to thread passes up to his strikers or surge towards the net and finish ruthlessly. Their squad is relatively the same as past year, but now Sarri is looking to make a splash in January by signing several attacking threats.

According to the same story, Chelsea FC manager Maurizio Sarri is keen to bolster his attacking options in the January window.

According to the Telegraph, CFC are already negotiating a possible swap deal involving Morata and AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain.

Nabil Fekir is one of the most exciting players on the European football stage and he has been attracting interests from several clubs.

Pulisic is out of contract at Borussia Dortmund at the end of next season and is another player who would be available in January.

Chelsea will tackle Watford on Wednesday in the Premier League fixture.
