Chelsea boss Sarri is furious that Bayern sporting director HasanSalihamidzic said this week that they "definitely" want to sign Hudson-Odoi during the January transfer window as he "has the qualities which would fit very well" with the German champions.
Barca have offered Brazilian Malcom - who they only signed from Bordeaux in the summer - as bait to try and tempt Chelsea, who are wondering whether to sell. I think that he can do better.
"Gonzalo's looked good since coming back [from winter break] and he's trained the way I like and I wouldn't have taken the decision to field him against Sampdoria if not", Gattuso told Milan TV on Friday.
Sarri, though, has digged his heels in over Hudson-Odoi, and he is not impressed with Bayern Munich's continued pursuit of him.
"They didn't respect our club, I think".
"As you know very well I am not involved in the market".
"He is improving a lot I think in the defensive phase".
Hudson-Odoi, who largely operates as a left winger, has scored once and provided three assists in 12 first-team appearances for Chelsea. Anything else, we will see. "In my opinion, we need two players", he said. He's got unbelievable qualities.
Bookmakers believe there is a real chance that both William and Hudson-Odoi could leave.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "It's looking increasingly likely Willian will be a Barcelona player come close of play this month".
But one star that has been heavily linked with a move away is Hudson-Odoi, with Bayern Munich aggressively pursuing the 18-year-old.
Mirror UK reports that Luiz is keen on returning to Portugal to join Iberian giants Benfica, his former club.
The Blues played an uninspiring goalless draw with Southampton a fortnight ago before Maurizio Sarri's men were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Tottenham in Carabao Cup during the week.
