National Basketball Association veteran Harrison Barnes reportedly knew he was on the verge of being traded - but judging by his on-camera reaction, he didn't expect it the deal to go through in the middle of a game.
The Los Angeles Lakers star took to Instagram to air his frustrations over the differing narratives surrounding moves made by the league's players and its teams.
As many National Basketball Association fans have seen, Harrison Barnes was just traded by the Dallas Mavericks to the Sacramento Kings.
Barnes is averaging 17.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game this season for the Mavericks and has a player option on the $25M deal following this season.
"Traded this man while he was literally playing in the game and had ZERO idea", James said.
His caption read, "So let me guess this is cool cause they had to do what was best for the franchise right???"
Pelicans forward Anthony Davis appeared to "like" James' post.

"Just call [a spade a spade]!" The Marion, Indiana native went on to earn All-NBA Third Team honors in 2010-11 after posting at least 20 points per game in three consecutive seasons.
"I don't know too much about Harrison", Kings center Willie Cauley-Stein told reporters Wednesday night.
As of Wednesday night, four former UNC players have now been traded before the deadline including Wayne Ellington and Reggie Bullock.
