Representatives for The Voice singer Janice Freeman confirmed her death, hours after the 33-year-old suddenly died from complications of a blood clot Saturday.

According to reports, she was at home when she began to have trouble breathing. She was rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 5:30 p.m.

Her rep also shares that several months prior, doctors had inserted a port-a-cath to ease Freeman's ongoing lupus treatments, but her immune system continued to remain depressed, with even common colds threatening more serious repercussions.

On Season 13 of "The Voice", Freeman was known for her soaring, powerful vocals, as well as for the health issues she had overcome to get to the stage.

While on the show, Freeman was one of judge Miley Cyrus' favorites and was on her team, making it to the top 11.

"A survivor and fighter, and a lovely force in this world, Janice gained notoriety through her success on NBC's "The Voice" as a member of Miley Cyrus' team", the statement said. Both Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson offered her a spot on their teams after hearing her sing in the blind auditions phase of the show. The reality TV star was just 33 years old. "You got somebody that got your back". Posting a photo of a rainbow in the sky, Cyrus thanked Freeman "for everything", noting that the rainbow perfectly represents the late singer. And now this ... please do yourself a favor and listen to her performances.

'Miley, you are my dawg, like, my best friend, and I will defend you to the bitter end, ' Freeman said on her Instagram story in January 2018.

Janice told fans that Miley had covered her rent for six months so she was able to move into a new home.

Rest in peace, Janice Freeman.
