Suspect in #NipseyHussle shooting denies murder

Eric Holder, the suspect in the fatal shooting of Nipsey Hussle, was officially charged Thursday (April 4).

Holder appeared in court behind bars in a holding cell and spoke only to acknowledge his rights.

Eric Holder, the man charged for the murder of Nipsey Hussle, pleaded not guilty.

As The Blast reported, Holder allegedly opened fire on Nipsey Hussle while the rapper was outside his clothing store in Los Angeles on Sunday. Two other men were injured in the incident. He is now being held on $5 million bail, the outlet reports. Holder is now being held without bail and could face a life sentence if convicted, according to a Billboard report. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail and three years of probation.

Police, who say the shooting was the result of a personal dispute, arrested Holder on Tuesday.

Holder, 29, was also charged at his arraignment with possession of a firearm by a felon.

Although it was an Los Angeles case, it was streamed worldwide and has gone down in history of one of the biggest celebrity court cases in history.

Hussle, 33, was engaged to actress Lauren London, with whom he had a two-year-old son.

Hussle had success in hip-hop's inner circles for 10 years through his coveted mixtapes, then last year broke big with his major-label debut album, "Victory Lap", which was nominated for a Grammy.

Philly rapper, Privaledge, has released his newest track titled "So Cold" featuring an unreleased verse from Nipsey Hussle honoring the west coast rapper.

Hussle did not have any security with him that day; he rarely did, Asghedom said, "That's why the people loved him".
