If every day is a blessing, then we should live it as such, right? I mean, who really wants to sit idle and watch life pass them by? But, how do we grow ourselves from day to day? It’s boring having a basic life. So here’s a quick list of 10 Tips to Living a Life Worthwhile.
1. Get up early: Sleeping away the day is wasteful. My grandmother always told me that if we waste not, then we’ll want not. In western N.Y. sunny days are at a premium, so enjoy them and get up and out early.
2. Express Gratitude: We may have a lot of very little. Yet, when we are thankful for the things we have then we will truly find more enjoyment in them. Not to mention, if we’re focused on what we have in our life, what we don’t have will not seem so bad.
3. Do Something Productive: Why waste energy doing things that do not enrich our lives? When we are productive we become better at managing our time and ultimately find more time to do more things. Work hard, play hard as the old cliché goes.
4. Do Something Fun: It is equally important to kick back and enjoy every day we’re blessed with. So, once a day we need to do something that is fun for us.
5. Do Something for Someone Else: Charitable actions bring good karma. They make us feel good about ourselves, especially when we do things for others without expecting anything in return. It doesn’t have to be anything huge. A kind gesture or helping hand brightens not only our day, but someone else’s as well.
6. Bask in the Sunlight: Sunshine is important to our happiness as well as our health. Just think of how good that vitamin D feels and how fresh air and sunshine helps us sleep more soundly at night. Sunshine, it does a body good.
7. Exercise: It doesn’t matter what kind, just do it like Nike. Go for a walk. Go for a run. Get outside and do something. Take up a sport, or just start a new workout routine.
8. Make a Stranger Smile: One of the best ways to raise our own vibration is to raise someone else’s. Putting a smile on someone’s face is the quickest way to do that. It’s as easy as smiling at them or taking the time to ask how their day is, and wish them well.
9. Express Gratitude or Compliment Them: Compliment others often, and express gratitude for everything you have and the lessons that life has taught us is another easy way to raise our vibration and increase our daily bliss.
10. Learn Something New: Learn a new language. Learn a new skill. Take up a new hobby. Adding to our education will truly increase our use in life. We will find more opportunity to add value to the lives of others. By adding value, we will increase the vibration of our community, and in doing so we bring beauty to our world.
By raising our vibration daily we truly will add to the beauty around us. By adding beauty and inspiration to the world around us we will increase the positive nature of the world and that can only add to our ultimate bliss and to that of those around us.
A life worth living is well within reach for all of us. However, we all need to work together to create the world we all want. What’s more, is that those around us who are bent on dragging down the lot of us will eventually see the error of their ways.
